I've been coming to this restaurant over 10 years and I think there is always upside-down. Someday great fish with not so good customer service, someday so so fish but great service, both good on lucky day. Fortunately, my last visit was both great! Really hope they continue to keep their quality in the top all the time.

Love coming here. Best fatty tuna and giant scallop. Service is always good especially if you sit at the bar.

Noshi is a top-notch, no-frills spot for quality sushi. Service is good; the place is well-maintained. Prices are reasonable. I had to try the Truffle Kanpachi, as I love anything truffled and I rarely see truffle sushi. It was spicy, fresh, and beautifully plated. My boyfriend ordered a board of cut rolls, which he enjoyed. Miso soup was served before our plates came out, and we also ordered Sapporos. We were able to find parking in the very small car park off Hobart, but I can imagine the lot would be full on a weeknight or weekend. Despite the parking hassle, Noshi is definitely worth checking out.

I love Noshi. The ambiance, pricing, food quality and service are great. I've been coming here for over 15 years. Quality has been consistent. And they finally take card payment now! Woohoo Their albacore carpaccio appetizer is delicious. We always love ordering the tempura because the oil is changed frequently leading to a light fragrant tempura that isn't dredged in brown oil. They have a great deal on pitchers of Sapporo. Parking: really sucks especially if you come at lunch time. People don't carpool so the tables aren't full but the parking lot is. SOMETIMES you can park on the residential street but make sure to read the sign. Noshi has the best California rolls. I just adore them. Their sashimi is fresh and the classic booths offer so much privacy while dining. I will say that if the smell of fried shrimp bothers you, don't come here. Often times they'll fry up the sweet shrimp heads as a side to the nigiri portion. Had a date who did not like the smell lol. So bring non-picky people here. As far as the "sashimi boat" situation, I don't really eat artic clams so I'd rather pay a bit more and get the 10pc sashimi. The beef tenderloin with teriyaki was tender and delicious. Would recommend you order that with the tempura combo.
